Hurricane Rick Image set, October 18-22, 2009

Shortly before it struck land (October 20 - 21, 2009) Hurricane Rick had become one of he most powerful hurricanes to approach the west coast of Mexico. It moved slightly north and shredded into a minor weather system (in terms of wind speed), but became a major rain maker across Mexico, Texas, and Louisiana. This page features sixteen photos (October 19 - 22, 2009) from the geostationary GOES Pacific satellite that shows the end of this hurricane, as well as the slow development of tropical system Neki west of Hawaii. All times and dates are Coordinated Universal Time, UTC (PST is 8 hours behind UTC, -0800, and MST is 7 hours behind, -0700).
