Who We Are

Education Technologies is the technology consulting and informational website of Dr. B. H. Giza. It exists to assist other professional educators in using technology for teaching and learning. Dr. Giza has served in a consulting role to individuals, school districts, regional education centers, and to state education agencies. His strength is in developing online student-centered learning environments, training in the use of emerging technologies (especially open-source tools) in the classroom, and developing and delivering teacher professional development. His home city is El Paso, Texas, USA.

B. H. Giza, Ph.D. is the former Director of Instructional Technology at the Alamo Community College District's Center for Leadership in San Antonio and at Northwest Vista College. An Associate Professor of Science and Technology Education at the University of Texas at El Paso, he has worked in all aspects of k-12 and university technology curriculum design, training, and implementation. He holds degrees in science education (Ph.D., University of Texas at Austin, 2001), science illustration and dance history (M.A.I.S.), biology (M.S.), and art (B.F.A.). |
